Siamo Foresta is an exhibition with the artistic direction of anthropologist Bruce Albert and the artistic director of the Fondation Cartier pour l’art Contemporain Hervé Chandès. Specially conceived for the Triennale Milano, in continuation of a long-standing dialogue initiated by the Fondation Cartier more than 20 years ago, this exhibition provides an unprecedented experience of exchange and encounters between artists, thinkers and fervent defenders of the forest, from both sides of the Atlantic.
Focusing on artists from Latin America, the Siamo Foresta exhibition presents, among others, the works of Jaider Esbell (Macuxi, Brazil), Cleiber Bane (Huni Kuin, Brazil), Floriberta Femin, Angelica Klassen, Esteban Klassen, Marcos Ortiz (Chaco , Paraguay), Sheroanawe Hakiihiwë, Joseca Mokahesi and Ehuana Yaira (Yanomami, Venezuela and Brazil), Johanna Calle (Colombia), Alex Cerveny, Bruno Novelli, Santidio Pereira, Solange Pessoa, Adriana Varejao and Luiz Zerbini (Brazil)
